Sketchnote Kindness – Learn to Sketchnote Series

In this post we strengthened our sketchnote skills by doing a sketchnote for our theme of Kindness for the month.

Kindness Sketchnote

This is the recording of our Facebook Live where we did this sketchnote step by step. We started by adding the title and then added icons, bible verses, a summary of sermon on kindness by Rick Warren. The sermon is over an hour-long, so we summarized the key points in our sketchnote, but it’s a great sermon. Pastor Warren uses the parable of the Good Samaritan as the basis for our focus on kindness.

I also found a recipe for Kindness by the Crafting Chicks. You can get their printable here. We included it in our sketchnote along with an anagram of kindness.

Supplies

Paper (preferably cardstock) or sketchbook

Pencil and eraser

Black pen – sharpie pen or Micon pens

Something to add color. I used water-soluble crayons as I really like the way they blend so easily.

Template
