Women Rooted in Christ is hosting an evening with Marsha Baker. Marsha is a local graphic artist whose mission is to draw people closer to Christ with her art. She loves typography and uses graphic elements to help people visually connect with the Word. Marsha has written three books, her latest is Abundantly Blessed, a 52 week guided visual gratitude journal.
Invite a friend or neighbor and join us for an inspiring evening. Marsha will lead us in devotion and demonstrate her techniques for graphically capturing sermon notes, devotions and Bible verses. You will be amazed at the beautiful art work she produces with simple pencil strokes.
After the demo, Marsha will help us create our own inspirational designs. Don’t be intimidated or shy away, Marsha is a loving teacher and will simplify how she breaks down the doodling elements.
And of course there will be dessert and plenty of fellowship during this fun evening.
This is a FREE event but please register so we can have enough supplies. Sign-up sheets will be in the Coffee Shoppe.
