1 Peter 3:4 says A quiet spirit is of great worth in the Lord’s sight. I love this verse – we live our lives at 90 miles an hour and are so busy being busy most of the time we don’t know know why we’re so busy. But taking time to be quiet and shutting out all the busyness of life, gives us time to connect with the Lord . It allows us to further our relationship with Him hear what He has to say to us. We are not machines and not meant to burn the candle at both ends. Schedule some time to unplug from the world and plug into your bible. Start with 1 Peter 3;4 and just focus on being still and quiet.
This Alpha Verse was fun to do. When I think of quite I think of a slower time and that reminded me of my Grandmother’s house with stripped wall paper. I decided to use softer colors of pink and green. I limited my color pallet to 4 colors a light pink, a dark pink, a light mint green and a darker teal green. I decided not to repeat one basic motif in the wall paper but use it as a challenge to get creative to develop new patters that I can use in the future and that worked in my wallpaper background as well.
The wallpaper background was done in marker and then I used a color pencil to shade in the Q. You can get the printable here: Q 1 Peter 3 4 Printable
I’d love to see what you do with this alpha verse. Send me a pic of your Alpha Verse
