I found this interesting poster that someone did of a quote by Neil DeGrasse Tyson. The quote said, “The good thing about science is that it’s true whether or not you believe in it. “ This quotes strikes me as just silly. I know there are truths in science. These truths are called laws – like the law of gravity, the first law of thermal dynamics…. I get that there are a lot of things are solid and irrefutable in science. However there are these things called theories. Like the theory of evolution and the theory of relativity. Theory defined in the dictionary as a proposed explanation whose status is still conjectural and subject to experimentation (dictionary.com). That quote got me to thinking about what is truth and that answer was simple. John 14: 6 says Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. So I decided to doodle fonts this week and state the truth. That God is I am no matter what.
