This week I thought I would share a page from my gratitude journal show a page from a recent trip I took. I joined some wonderful ladies on a Girl’s Week End on the Outer Banks in North Carolina. It was a wonderful week end. The weather was great and the company was terrific. On Thursday we were treated to a 5 course gourmet meal from the chefs at Cafe Lachine in Nags Head (5000 S Croatan Hywy N1 Nags Head, NC 27959) came to our house and prepared a wonderful meal. Justin and Johanna made us fun little appetizers, a strawberry salad, flounder stuffed with crab meat and tuna steak topped off with a Ho Ho Cake. It was a wonderful meal. I thought I would document the whole meal in my gratitude journal as I’ve never had chefs prepare a meal just for me at home. So fun, so blessed. Next time you have a great meal, draw it and be thankful for the wonderful food , friends and memories you made that night.
