Instead of carving pumpkins this year, I decided to doodle them instead. I started out with a regular sharpie, but quickly had to migrate to a wider marker to make bolder lines. Keep the patterns simple as the surface of the pumpkin is going to make it a challenge to ink the patterns. I’ve gotten lots of nice comments about my unusual pumpkins.
