This week’s bulletin cover was easy as this idea has been rolling around for a while. I asked myself, from a Biblical perspective how do you become a fisher of men? It seemed to me that you “catch” someone by being different and fruitful – as in the fruits of the spirit. This lead me to make fishing lures with the nine fruits of the spirit found in Galatians 5:22-23: But the fruit that the Spirit produces in a person’s life is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control.
